Established in 2002, Republic Polytechnic (RP) is Singapore’s youngest polytechnic. RP offers over 40 full-time courses across diverse fields, including Applied Science, Business, Engineering, Hospitality, Infocomm, Sports and Health, and Technology for the Arts, Media, and Design.

Since inception, RP has distinguished itself with its innovative problem-based learning pedagogy. RP has continued to push the frontier in educational excellence, through bold curriculum changes designed to enrich and empower its students' learning experiences.

Starting from Academic Year 2025, the Becoming Greater Me paradigm will shape RP students’ journeys, combining intellect and emotion to inspire purpose-driven decisions. This approach aligns the students' passions and goals with both academic and life paths—now and beyond graduation.

Application for Higher Year Scholarships is by invitation only. Shortlisted students will be invited for an interview by the Selection Panel.

Polytechnic Foundation Programme graduates who are entering Year 1 /
Diploma students who are in their Year 2 and Year 3
Excellent academic results
Active involvement in non-academic related activities e.g. in CCAs, community projects, leadership programmes
Good character and conduct
Not a recipient of another scholarship
Other eligibility criteria specified by the sponsor may apply
Successful recipients may be offered opportunities to serve an internship with the sponsor
